A fine balance of sweet, herbal, and spicy, Tiger Snake Cask Strength is rich in flavour, having been transferred straight from barrel to bottle with minimal intervention.
This full-flavoured sour mash is crafted using a classic grain bill of corn, rye and malted barley, and occasionally including the old hybrid grain “triticale”, all of which are sourced entirely from Western Australia.
Each batch is a single cask and is hand bottled and numbered in keeping with the Distillery’s small batch tradition. The average age of this product is 7 to 10 years.
Nose – Bursting with rich vanilla caramel, chocolate, honey, hazelnut and almonds
Palate – Intense mouth warming, lovely richness with vanilla, ovaltine, sweet digestive biscuits with spicy banana bread
Finish – Very strong and sweet, yet rich with a well-balanced dry oaky finish
