Siete Leguas Anejo, made with 100% blue agave from the Jalisco region. Two-steps distillation in small copper stills. Aged 24 months in American white oak barrels.
Nose – Soft vanilla aromas paired with the light fragrance of dried fruit (raisins), quince, orange, peach and red fruits. Light aromas of chocolate, coffee and maple syrup along with the wood scent infused in the barrels.
Palate – During the aging process, tequila absorbs a variety of flavors from the barrels it is stored in. These include light, fruity and sweet tastes like maple syrup, coffee, chocolate, vanilla, raisins, prunes, orange, peach, quince, cherries, and cranberries. These flavors are complemented by the lingering taste of cooked agave and subtle hints of spice such as cinnamon and clove, as well as refreshing traces of spearmint, mint, and chamomile.
The finish is long, providing a marked presence of dried and red fruit flavor along with sweet notes infused by the wood in the barrels that doesn’t overpower the flavor of cooked agave.
