Made from all Australian local ingredients and aged in predominately French oak ex red wine casks at the regional distillery in Rutherglen Victoria, this unique whisky draws incredible flavour from the distillery’s own prized fortified barrels. Finished in barrels that have held the award-winning 15 year old Morris Cellar Reserve Grand Topaque (Tokay) which displays intense flavours of toffee, mocha, and soft caramel with a generous mid palate.
Nose – Subtle intensity of rich dried orchard fruits, malted butterscotch and burnt toffee pecan.
Palate – The vibrance of fresh fruit, layered with rich flavours of white chocolate creme brulee and a hint of toasted spice.
Finish – Lavish and indulgent, the long finish of vibrant raisin flavours gives way to warm malted honeycomb.
