Gordon & Macphail’s Private Collection range features a truly exceptional and unique collection of greatly aged single malts from a mixture of celebrated, little-known and now closed distilleries across Scotland. Personally selected by members of the Urquhart family, each release is a unique and exquisite chapter in Scotland’s whisky history.
Matured in refill sherry hogshead cask. Distilled in January 1976, bottled in November 2021. Only 266 bottles released.
Nose – Initially, rich aromas of fruit and woody spices combine with traces of wood polish and old leather. The whisky opens further with sweet notes of salted toffee and hints of dark chocolate. Subtle sherry base notes remain throughout.
Palate – Creamy; dried fruits, figs, and spices combine delightfully with an abundance of wood flavours and sweet fudge nuances. Fresh menthol notes balance the malt as bitter oak tannins develop.
Finish – The menthol flavours evolve into drying notes of cinnamon, clove, and walnut which curtail the length of the finish.

Returns
We don't control the inventory in our warehouse and factory. The stock can change at any time. It's possible that the stock may run out after the order has been made.
Our policy is valid for 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can't offer you a return or exchange.
To be eligible for a return your item must be unused and in the same condition as you received it. You must have the item in the original packaging.
