100% of Agave rests in spent American oak barrels and used for tequila for more than 20 years, the maturation or rest time lasts from 14 to 16 months in the barrels.
Nose – Toasted oak, cooked agave, honey, orange pith, dried flowers.
Palate – Wet earth, toasted oak, cooked agave, coating/oily mouthfeel with herbal grassy notes still showing through the barrel aging.
Finish – Spicy in the beginning, warms in your mouth, and finishes with a fresh breath of agave and licorice.
