This gin started with Anther Australian Dry at the heart of the recipe and built in extra botanicals including Cubeb, saltbush, honey, maple syrup, damiana and sarsaparilla. Damiana is super bitter and an aphrodisiac! Sarsaparilla has a soft vanilla anise flavour which compliments the juniper beautifully, the cubeb is a savoury pepper which is clean and the saltbush mellows the sweetness of the honey and maple sits in the mid palate and both of these work to balance the complexity of honey from Hobart and Canadian Maple syrup. These flavours all work to give a spicy well weighted palate with a soft mouthfeel that does not feel like you are drinking a navy strength gin!
