The blended malt series “AMAHAGAN” was created by focusing on “blending”, which is the most important process for whisky making.
Based on Edition No.1, this edition is the matured in mizunara oak.
The sweet malt aroma typical of Nagahama malt overflowing in the glass mixes with warm fruits such as oranges and red apples, making it even richer. As time passes, the nuances of the incense derived from Mizunara recede even more, and at the end you feel a woodiness like sweet caramel. On the palate, it has the flavor of baked orange and fragrant brown sugar. The sweetness is followed by a rich aftertaste, as if bitter chocolate is slowly melting in your mouth.
