Triple Smoke Whiskey is the result of collaboration with Corsair Distillery based in Nashville, Tennessee.
Utilising single paddock unmalted barley from the local area, which was smoked with Australian redgum to infuse it with flavours of hazelnut praline and eucalypt. Additionally, Corsair smoked the same barley with American cherrywood before it is blended with a portion Scottish peated malt.
Nose – Hazelnut praline. The smell of winter ‘burn-off’, with a faint eucalypt note.
Palate – Quite sweet, with a note that is reminiscent of mulch, or sweet hay. Extinguished campfire gives way to a briny finish.
