OCHO takes the slow, artisanal approach to making tequila, harvesting only over-ripe agaves from the Golden Triangle of Los Altos de Jalisco. These agaves are then slowly roasted in brick ovens, fermented with natural airborne yeast, and distilled at low temperatures to ensure maximum agave essence is present in the finished product. The result is an additive-free tequila that delivers rich, undiluted agave flavor.
Nose – Crisp, bright agave with lively citrus notes and a fresh herbaceousness including white pepper and minerality
Palate – Full and complex cooked agave notes, developing front to back with notes of fresh cut grass and a touch of earthiness
Finish – Thick, viscous mouthfeel with a long harmonious finish
