After more than 5 years of aging in oak barrels in the purest tradition of old HSE rums, this vintage has benefited from a finish of 8 to 12 months in Rozelieures French whisky barrels.
The first nose opens with aromas of cocoa, dried fruits and citrus fruits, to which are added subtle smoky and spicy notes. The palate offers a lively attack where aromas of roasted cereals, stewed fruits and rare spices characteristic of our old rums develop.
