This 2006 limited edition was distilled and matured initially in exceptional ex-bourbon American oak casks. Finished in the finest white port barrels sourced from Portugal.
Nose – Bright aromas of red berry fruits, Victoria sponge cake, acacia honey and stewed rhubarb with rose water and violet highlights.
Palate – Juicy strawberry and summer fruit pudding followed by redcurrant jelly, ruby chocolate and key lime pie with a pink peppercorn and cedar warmth.
Finish – Fresh waffles and syrup with berry coulis and impressions of black forest gateaux fading to a long, wood spice linger.
