This whisky has been aged in 200 litre American oak, ex tawny port barrels, with a smidge of Scottish Peat added to give the barley a smoky profile.
Nose – Tawny cask florals, apricot & maybe fruit cake aromas.
Palate – Savoury, slightly salty & earthy tones.
Finish – Classic, slightly Scottish heritage finish of wispy, smoke & spice.
